Speaker Bio
Edward is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and industry voice who has launched and scaled businesses across media, fitness, wellness, and sourcing. His latest venture, Athletech News, was created to bring transparency, community, and credible reporting to the fast-growing fitness and wellness industry. Since its launch in 2023 under Athletech Media Group, it has quickly become a leading industry publication, attracting more than 100,000 subscribers.
Previously, Hertzman founded Sourcing Journal in 2009, building it into the world’s largest trade publication focused on apparel sourcing and supply chain. He sold the company to Penske Media Corporation in 2017 and went on to serve as President of Sourcing Journal and EVP of Fairchild Media, overseeing portfolio growth and operations.
Through Hertzman Global Ventures, he continues to consult and invest in retail, supply chain, and technology companies. A sought-after speaker, Hertzman has helped shape industry conversations around sustainability, compliance, and global sourcing. He holds a degree in economics from New York University and serves on the board of Delivering Good, a nonprofit supporting communities in need.
