David Van Daff

Speaker Bio

With almost 30 years of comprehensive experience in fitness and wellness, David brings a vast level of expertise in fitness industry business operations, multi-facility management and training and education to the NASM.

As Vice President, Industry Relations & Public Affairs, David leads the NASM Domestic and International Fitness Industry Divisions, ClubConnect and all public affairs, advocacy, and external relations efforts.

Prior to rejoining NASM, he served in roles as EVP of Fitness for Fusionetics and VP of Business Development and Public Affairs for NASM.  In addition, David lead fitness operations, personal training and education for over 400 health clubs at Bally Total Fitness for 14 years.

David holds a B.A. from the University of Kansas and an M.A. from the University of Tennessee. He also has an extensive array of certifications and credentials in personal training, corrective exercise, fitness nutrition, performance enhancement and weight loss.  He currently resides in Chicago with his family.
