Akiko Takashima is a global brand and marketing leader with over 20 years’ experience across luxury fashion, beauty, hospitality, media and technology. She has held senior leadership roles and advised internationally recognised companies and brands including Sony BMG, Spotify, Stella McCartney, Smythson, Dr. Barbara Sturm and MZ Skin, alongside some of London’s leading hospitality concepts. Born in Japan, educated in the UK and having started her career in the US, Akiko brings a distinctly international perspective to building brands, communities and cultural relevance, and holds committee and advisory positions across leading global members’ clubs and cultural institutions, including The Ned and Soho House.
